    How much for a period K98 cleaning rod

    Hello fellow collectors and a Happy New Year to you all.

    I have a K98 which is missing it's cleaning rod. I have found some priced at £25 on a dealers site here in the UK. I feel this price is a little steep. Am i being a tight arse or is this price OK.

      Is it an original clean rod and is the lenght for your rifle?

      there are 3 lenghts of cleaning rods?

      Are there markings on the rod?

      You got a picture?

      A good original rod value about 40€ .

        If i was going to purchase i'd check all that out. My K98 is a '44. The pictures on the dealers site are copywritten so i can't really put them on here. They are offered as 100% genuine with a money back guarantee.

          30 - 100 USD for rods... of couse there are two sizes. If the stock is truly a '44 stock, then you need the 12.5 in. The shorter one is for early guns and is the more expensive of the two...
