Craig,, well you might have started out cool with him but I guess your memory isn't so good..
I'd say I'm the closest with Vinny.. He has told me a few stories either about you or involve you. None of them happy endings and I can say 100% you are not in the best light..
A few years ago after Vinny and I went to see Auschwitz he shortly stopped collecting military. He kept most of what had and is happy with what he has. .
We still hang out and go to the shows to have a few laughs etc. He doesn't want any part of military forums, and definitely no part of you.!..Comment

I hope that everyone has a happy and healthy 2010.
It has been some time since I logged on to WA, just over a year.
Craig, you and I have plenty of history and there are many stories that can be shared - most of which don't have happy endings.
You are correct, I purchased 1 dagger from you, an SS Himmler at the SOS Show many years ago.
I am looking forward to the 2010 SOS and hope to see many of my old friends there - Mark and G, we need to catch up soon.

Those documents were $4100. As I said in my post Craig gave me a total refund without any questions or hesitations. I can't comment on the discussions going on here at the moment but what I can say is that in the last 3 years my dealings with Craig have been A1. He certainly has my recommendation.
If you don't like him, or any dealer for that matter then don't buy from him. That is the best way but verbal bashing and threats doesn't do anyone any good. Lets stick to the orginal topic.

I dont know what went on with the above transactions , but Ive daelt with craig gottlieb in the past and had no problems. the items were better than described and packaged well so I would buy from him again if the item I wanted came for sale on his website

One more very simple question...
Did you ever tell anyone the reason you rode that wheeled Segway was because you are a "disabled vet"? A simple yes or no will do.
Be VERY careful here....a LOT of us real disabled vets are watching for this response. It's very easy to smoke this one out. Did you make the statement? Are you disabled due to military service?

The absence of complaining customers seems to have dissolved. I am wondering what the next excuse for the naive and/or conspriacy theorists will be? Uncertain how to help naive as in my experience only time and a few good f'ings ever seem to cure. Concepts like conspiracy are only applicable if there is no solid evidence to support allegations. Not the case here. If solid evidence throughout WAF and elsewhere (if you search) doesn't burst your conspiracy bubble then I am not sure what can. Add to the equation that these recurring problems don't seem to plague well known legitimate (as opposed to infamous) dealers in the same arms and militaria world. If the sum of all this does not compel reasonable people to reach different conclusions I can only suggest they surrender their DL's and voter registration cards for the safety of all.
Guys - if it walks like a duck, quacks, like a duck or rides a segway like a duck - guess what its a duck! Just don't waste time defending profoundly negative behavior or criticising those collectors who still have a foot firmly planted in ethics and reality.Comment
