    Field Telephone

Here is a great shot of the field telephone I may be ordering. Comes with Handset and everything, even a reciever that doesn't have the telephone cord frayed!

      Bit clearer

Markings on the side of the phone and on the Reciever where you talk into it.

Nice, Luger! Its actually a 1938 Mauser production luger, the eagle is not a Luftwaffe eagle but a early style proof marking. The engraved numbers ( on the front strap ) are not German markings in style and I would assume them to be done by others parties after capture.
Still a nice pistol with family history to go along, Very nice!
          Regards,
          Robert

                  Hi Shane,

                  If you take look here........
                  www.simpsonltd.com
They have three 1938 S/42.s for sale.
Prices range from $1200.00 to $2000.00

As yours looks like a very nice example, i would insure it for at least $2000.00
But keep an eye on the market, these things are going up in price all the time.

                  Hi Robert,
Many thanks for the kind words and encouragment.

                  Best regards to you both,

                  Steve.
