European Source for MG34 front sight parts?

I bought this clamp-on bipod mount/front sight off the E-stand for my Pz MG 34 kit. However the folding front sight parts are missing and need to be replaced.
I need the front sight assembly, plunger, plunger spring and the front sight pin. As I would like to buy these parts with the least hassle, I'd like to find a good source within the EU. Can anyone help?

    Hello,

    I suspect Bergflak is your man (I think he is still based in Norway), he is a member on here or alternatively contact him through his website;

    All the best,

    Mark.

Mark, thank you for responding. Another collector said the same thing. Will contact him and see.

          tchuse,

Thank you for the suggestion. I've checked them out before posting, but couldn't find the parts there. Bergflak also couldn't help me, so I'm afraid I have no choice, but go through the pain of buying from the States.

And what about Waffen-Niedermeier.de? They usually have a plenty of spare parts for such guns.

              Hi

sorry but the clamp-on bipod mount you bought is a fake.
a french seller made and sold a lot of them.
I can tell you his name by MP

              sorry

Waffen-Niedermeier.de looked promising, but no luck with front sight parts.

fab, thanks for chipping in, but I'm not sure how the name of a person can help confirm this as a repro. If many were sold, and if it's known to be fake, there must be some discussion thread or so on the net that you can link me to. Or if you are saying that I can buy it much cheaper directly from him as a repro that'd be interesting, too, because a repro is OK for me, so long as the price is right. Does he make the clamp-on mount for the AA sight, too?

Madboat, thank you so much for the super link! Great help, exactly what I needed. I'll have to check the one I bought against the fake photos at home tonight.

OK, I got home and compared it carefully against the known fake at the MG42 forum and against the ones believed to be original from the Sarco batch. I conclude that mine is not a French repro. Unlike the repro, mine does not have the Waffenamt and CNX code both together, but only the Waffenamt, which appears to be WAa88. Also, the flat area on the top surely does not have any sharp edges as you can see in the photo below.
Can we now agree that this one's OK at least based on the observations from the MG42 forum?
I am nonetheless grateful to fab for questioning authenticity, as I certainly did not know that fakes existed and now I have the option of trying to get a repro AA sight mount to complete the set.

                      Rounded edges on top

                        There's no CNX stamping

                            Hey Ed,

Any idea if that one I bought at the Creek fits the bill as a fake? I packed it away when I got home and no can't recall if it has the cnx and WaA on the same piece.

Regardless, the price was right and I'll be using it at the range!
