    anyone has some 7.62x54R ammo?

I'm searching for this ammo, I need about 50 rounds for a Mosin Nagant but they are hard to come by where I live. Anybody wants to help me out with this??

Make your own. An extreemly good load is 125 grn hornady's with 56 grns of BL-C 2. (Pulled 7.62 X 39 bullets give the same result) This load is fast and very flat shooting, and produces a big orange fireball even on a bright sunny day

Making my own is not an option unfortunately.

It's just too much of a hassle to do it.

Hassle ! You don't know what you are missing. Loading your own is the ONLY way to get your gun shooting accureately and consistently. Apart from that it saves money and is easy to do.

I shot this at 400 metres with my flat shooting round.

WOW, What a clean Mosin Nagant you got there, real sniper version?? Poor animal, i'm not much of a hunter. Wolves are not in my country anymore, completely extinct.

And reloading, well, I don't have a reloading machine and the parts are equally difficult to get. But if you have a few spare rounds....

You have EU license to buy live ammo from another country? Or are you looking Belgium source for them only?

I dont know how it goes there in Belgium, but here in Finland you cannot buy live ammunition from another European Union country without proper license.

It's a Polish M-44, I mounted the scope and bent the bolt handle.

It's not a wolf it's a coyote, but a big one, there are 1000's of them around here.

You can get all your reloading components apart from primers and powder online. I bought all the stuff I needed to load 7.62x54R on ebay including my loading machine. If you are going to use it for target practise 50 rnds will not last long, with luck you will just be able to get it sighted in properly.

I have a Russian Mosin Nagant 91/30 (which has been checked by the testbench in Liege in 1996), I'm not intending to use it as a regular shooter. It's just to fire a few rounds to see how it feels, even a pack of 20 rounds would be sufficient for that. My more regular shooter is a .22 of which there is no shortage, nor are they expensive to begin with. Buying a complete reloader seems to be a waste of money just to fire a few rounds.

And I indeed noticed the shorter barrel, it's a real nice weapon. And I didn't recognise the coyote, we don't have them either were I live. I'm not really a canine lover anyway, I'm more a cat person .

Is it even legal to ship ammo from the US to Europe? If it is, I would be happy to help you out, but I have my doubts...

A lee loader only costs about $30 and you can use the same cases time and time again.
