    Mp 34 mag pouch

    Anyone seen a pouch like this believed to be a pre-war Austrian type
    as issued to the german forces for the Mp34 i have seen them in books of the weapon, anyone have a value as they are hard to find.

        First time I see this sort!
        Think it was for 9x25mauser export magazines.Very width holes as the picture shows

          Actually it is not that rare. They were a standard issue for the Austrian Bundesheer and the police between the two world wars, and then it was used by the German Police (Wehrmacht and Luftwaffe were using mostly modified Mp-40 pouches for the Mp-34 (ö) ).

          Some fellow has been trying to sell one like this on eBay for some two years for a price of some USD 330. But I think that USD 150 would be much closer to the real price of the item...

            luger 41, do you have a chance to check what magazines is this pouch for? I mean whether it is for 9x19 Para magazines or 9x23 Steyr (or 9x25 Mauser Export).

              These are for 9mm Steyr.
              They were used by all branches of the German Army.

                Thnx Frank.
                This makes the pouch at least more valuable since it is a common problem that 9x23 Steyr mags do not fit into "Portugese" pouches.
