    1917 Browning Machine Gun

I have a 1917 Browning water cooled machine gun and tripod. It was demilled after WWII. I had a gunsmith spruce it up several years ago. It has Demilled transfer papers for it. What is it's value now.
    Thanks,
    Richard

Being a registered DEWAT and being a true M1917, you could probably get $15k for it easily, possibly even more. It wont bring as much as a true C&R gun because someone will have to form 1 it to reactivate it and engrave their information on it. If you form 1 and reactivated it yourself, you could probably get $20k out of it. Another factor would be the demilling procedure ie: welded bolt to inside, welded chamber, whatever..

But for someone that wants a true GI gun at a non true GI price, this would be it.
