I just noticed that a P38 Manual just sold for $95 on E-Stand. I did realize those little manuals were going for that much. I have a few of that series in my collection amongst other guides and manuals.

By who were they used ? Soldiers who had to buy it by their own ?
Where did you find such items (if you can tell it of course

Used by the Soldiers of course. Those with prices on them were either purchased by the soldier or the unit in bulk. The Dienstvorschrift manuals were issued with the weapon or supplied by the unit.

I received many of these through friends and Military shows in Germany years ago. MP44 & G43 manuals came out of the stock of the weapons these weapons.
