Reccomend a good complete K98 cleaning kit for me

Would appreciate the help. Picking up a K98 tomorrow and would like to know what to buy to keep the "mechanics" in tip top shape.

All you really need is a standard rifle cleaning kit with an 8MM Mauser brush (available at pretty much any WalMart for about $8). Just keep it well oiled, scrub the bore with hot soapy water after firing corrosive ammo through it (ANY surplus ammo is likely corrosive), and you are good to go!

Why not get a nice original cleaning kit to go with it? They are not realy that expensive and will add to your collection.

I thought he meant a good kit for maintaining it (if so, I would not use an original cleaning kit). An original cleaning kit is about $35.
