I've found a flare pistol, should I buy it?

I've found a flare pistol for sale on the collectors guild that looks really good. But thats as far as my knowledge in that area goes. Can anybody who knows more about them than me tell me if its a good buy or not?? (for that price!)

    Thanks in advance

Hello, the Erma-Erfurt Heers started in 1936 ( very rare ), The 1938 is scarce, but not rare, and in that condition is at least $200 overpriced.

My opinion, I've only collected these for 45 years so what do I know??

For $600 you should get the original holster and cleaning rod with it !

Hello, No problem finding you the flaregun for $400 or less, I will have to look to see what accesories I may have for sale. The problem is it is expensive for you to ship from the USA to Florida, and I do NOT take Paypal, I Only take Western Union for international shipping.

            Good Collecting, Howard

I have no idea what shipping would be to Australia, depends on the total weight ands size I guess...
Please feel free to send me some pics of anything you have for sale.
              Thanks again

Hello, Sorry for the delay, got back from the Max with the flu.

After 3 days on the road with it, and 2 days at home, I finally am quite better.

I have the following flare pistols for sale all very fine condition unless marked otherwise.

                1) S/237 Manufactures code, dated 1938 $350

                2) 237 Code dated 1939 $350

                3) 237 Code dated 1940 $325

                4) Erma- Erfurt dated 1940 $400 - Excellent !

                5) Walther dated 1937 - very good $350

                6) Walther dated 1939 - $350

I have others, but this should give you some kind of idea of price. I am also emailing this list to others who have asked. I will add more to my list shortly.

                Good Collecting, Signalman

Flare gun is actually better than these photos indicate due to reflections on its shiny surface.
