Both of mine are also un marked on the back but on one of them on the flap it is stamped (on the out side and pressed not inked) 1 E

These are quiet common and not that expensive as mentioned by a previous poster. I have seen some on eBay with waffeamt marks and the starting bid was £200.How original that waffenamt mark is, is another matter. An item that can be bought very cheaply messed about with and sold very dearly.

I dont like the ink stamp either i could be wrong but i have a few pistol holsters that have inks stamps on the inside flap and i can hardly make bits of it out (if i squint real hard) but yours is real crisp even though around the stamp you can see where the indent of the leather strap is.But ive been proved wrong many a time
