        German Firearms Pics

I don t have any cool firearms pics, but you might like these pics of original German ammo that I ve collected, shot, sold, etc..All of it is the early pre war, early war brass stuff. This is an actual sealed case of 1500 rounds of s.S. P490 ammo, with zinc liner intact.

Usually the Fur Gewehr stuff, like the i.L.stuff, came in stripper clips. This is an actual sealed case of 1500 rounds of s.S. P490 ammo, with zinc liner intact.

Does that mean new members are not welcome to show what firearms they have in their collection?

Well here is one of mine anyway.

It is an MP.40. slab-side. serial no.3599 with original sling.
                Sadly, not matching numbers.

                Regards,

                Steve.

                  Steve,

                  Don´t take it so hard!
Of course you are welcome to post pictures of you nice MP40. Specially because I voted on it as best WWII submachine gun!
As you live in UK, is it correct to assume that it is dewat?

                  Regards,

                  Douglas.

                    Hi Douglas,
                    Yes it is a dewat(deactivated)
But it was 'chopped' pre 1995 which means it still has all moving parts and can be cocked,'dry' fired and stipped.
These days all sub-guns are welded up with no moving parts. Sometimes they even weld the mag in.....!!
I have two MP.40.s (both 'old spec') but my main interest is Lugers.

                    All the best,

                    Steve.

                      Latest Luger

                      Hi All,
This is the latest addition to my Luger collection.
                      Got it just before Christmas.......

                      It is a 1936 S/42 (Mauser) serial # 622h Droop E/63
All matching numbers including both magazines.
Mint condition exept for very minor wear on the high points.

                      My best example so far.........

                      Regards, Steve.

                              Hi Brain,
Yes, i am afraid they did .
Thats the only option most of us collectors in England have.

                              BIG SOBS.......

At least it still has all moving parts and is stripable.

                              Regards, Steve.
