Remington Golden Saber HPJ 9mm Luger Ammo in Wartime P38?

Would the Remington Golden Saber HPJ 9mm Luger ammo shoot well in a wartime P38? Just want to make sure I would not blow myself up .

      Hello,

You shouldn't have a problem out of a P38. The ogive is a little longer than with ball ammo so that can cause problems on the Luger but the P38 usually doesn't have that particular issue.

      Cheers

I just want an up on this topic and also should I be concerned with shooting a P38?

As a personal preference, I wouldn't run any +P ammo.
I usually use 115gr Winchester white Box in my older milsurps. I've also used 124gr handloads with no issues whatsoever.
As long as the firearm is in good shape, have fun and post pictures.

Do NOT use Hallow Points, they will not even load in the bore. I had a mag jam inside the pistol!

              Yikes!
Never tried hollow points. I don't think I'll be trying any time soon.
