    Which P38 is better?

    This one (both are $700):

    Chip on left grip

    Or the second one:

I think I would go for the one featured on this page. Their finish seems close and this one has war-time mags and a better holster.

Im feeling the one with the soft holster. A chip to me is no biggie to me, especially with its location on this weapon. I prefer the hard shell holsters but would love to get a hold of a P38 and a Luger. Working on my C&R in hawaii. Great pistol in the soft though, think price is very fair. Matt

Both pistols are very comparable in quality and finish, I would probably go for the first one as well. When you consider that the second one will be an almost $200 higher price when you factor in getting the correct mags!

              P-38

Good score with either. I paid $800 for a byf 44 pistol and one magazine two weeks ago, after consulting this forum. Prices in California being what they are.
Missouri is a good state to be in.
