    SVW cleaning rod insert?

    This came off a 98k marked and dated SVW 1945. I believe it was French made. It is unmarked.I found it in a box of tools where I had put it years ago. Is there any interest if I put it on E-stand? and what should I ask for it, $5.00? or?

    That is a stacking rod. They were used by the french on their captured German k98's regardless of weither or not they had a cleaning rod to start with.

    As to value I don't really know. I would tend to think that they are more valuable that $5. You should go over to "gunboards" and post it over there.
