I happened upon that site this afternoon while checking out various comments that I'd received. It's quite interesting. I have a few carbines in my collection, but never thought much about the Bavarian types prior my receiving this IBM. Thanks for your response, enjoy your new carbine. They are great shooters and look quite nice on display.

here are a few pics of mine, in my opinion i think the first Intrac imported one's are the finest of the bunch these carbines are rifles that were left over after the war's end by the troops that carried them in combat and then distributed to the Germans most still had their early feature except maybe for an adjustable rear sight and rotary safety installed not much else. this rifle is a Standard products late production rifle with and Underwood 1-44 barrel
