MG 34 Toolset - Kleiner Werkzeugsatz

    MG 34 Toolset - Kleiner Werkzeugsatz

    I´ve been offered this nice looking toolset.Was it standard set for every MG34 and are they common nowdays in complete form such as this one?

    Hello

    It's not common but very tool boxes i can see are after the WWII for
    the bundeswehr.
    Could you make photo of the marker in the steel of tool boxes, with the
    year ?

      As I understand it, this prewar tri-color camo pattern was used for cerain military equipment exported to Spain in 1938-1939. These tool sets were part of that export and are very desireable when complete. The can is probably dated on top.

      This one appears to be complete and a very nice example.

        Well price tells me that it sure is desired set in that condition(price is equal to deactivated MG34 i bought).Tricolor box is aluminium made.I will ask about markings in the set and box.

        Same source have very nice marked complete E-Kasten/E-tin and P-Kasten/P-tin sets.

          Box is marked BSW,1938 and WaA-number.Toolset frame is marked H.Adler,WaA4.Tools are marked by BSW and few of them have also Mauser logo and WaA-numbers.
