Labels on Patronenkasten?

I have a question about the 300-rounds ammo cans (Patronenkasten 41) used for the MG43 & MG34. Did they ever have any labels on them?

Every wooden ammo crate, 300-round cardboard battle pack & 15 round cardboard box of 7,92mm has labels affixed that signify caliber, maker, date, etc. But for the life of me, I don't think I've ever seen a Patronenkast. 34/41 with a label.

These cans were filled in the field (not in an ammo factory) with ammo that comes from labelled boxes. Boxes were only labelled in a ammo factory or re-labelled in a ammo inspection plant . That's why this cans don't have labels.
