    Krupp Rifle. Nazi? Need help

Hey all. I have no idea what kind of rifle this is. I was curious if it is ww2 era. Anyone know anything about this thing. I have a chance to buy one for $850. Is this gun even worth that? Thanks for your help.

This was a nice hunting rifle in 8mm Mauser. The Krupp mark indicated the quality of steel used by the maker in his barrel. Is there a logo of the manufacturer on the top of the breach or along the side of the receiver, along with some proofs? I would take it to be a pre-war hunting rifle, but it would be nice to know. Condition not really nasty, but abused. It might clean up without lose of blue. But $850 for a hunting rifle is pushing it.

I was told it was a walther 22 rifle. Made by the Germans towards the end of the war. I got an m35 dd luft from this guy. The nephew of a vet. This rifle was brought by the same vet. Said he got it off a pow. Not sure if it's an orginal ww2 german rifle.

The gun is marked 8x57 JS and the guy told you it was a Walther .22? Does it say Walther anywhere on the gun? What's in the water? What planet is this?

                            8mm rifle.

sporterized. NOT even close to 850 in value in my opinion. pre-WW2 i am pretty sure.
