Are these WW2 period 8mm brass casing?

    Aloha,
I've bought some dummy rounds for my MG34 and found some of them stamped with these letters and numbers on the bottom. Would they be WW2 period German 8mm brass shell casing for the MG34/42?

by headstamp all american mfg. except for the K44 BIIZ which is british. i think the 7.92MM marked ones are canadian mfg. in the '50's for CIA clandestine use. i am surprised so many u.s. arsenals made that caliber during the war.... are you certain they are all the same caliber?

          Mahalo mkb42h,
For the info on where they were manufactured. They all look to be the same caliber. I bought about 100 8mm dummy rounds to fill up two-50 link belts for my mg34 display gun. Are the numbers following the letters (FA 41), are they the date of manufacture?
Here are some others that have these markings:

          REM-UMC 8 M/M
          PS “a six pointed star”- 10 48
          WESTERN 8M/M MANN-SCHOEN
          N Mannl.-Sch.8
kanji for 79, the number 43, and another kanji that I don’t know.
There are a few others with what looks like Arab/Middle-eastern markings also.
Do you know from what countries these were manufactured?
