ZF4 K98 mount???

Picked up this scope/mount combo recently for a reasonable sum, supposedly it is for a K98 however none of the books mention it. There are no markings on the mount but it appears to be WWII or at least a few decades old judging from the wear/bluing loss. Mount is too wide for a zf41 rail. Also scope seems soldered to the mount, I can't get it off. any ideas what this might be? Did I uncover a rare variation or did Bubba strike again?

    Mount

Im guessing a post war adaptation for a sporterized mauser or something similar by German gunsmiths eager for work. I picked up a Luftwaffe marked zf-4 on a sporterized K98 and the amount of work on rings and mount was amazing.

Thanks Steve! Mount looks just like mine. Is that a short side rail?

Dual lever, but it came in with a short side rail,,this mount would look great on a pre WWII 98,,,just a nice shooter as it is
