    k98 sling help

    yes this is going to make me look silly i've got a sling that i want to attach to my k98 but have'nt got a clue..any help would be great

    Lay the rifle down with the forward band sling side up. Lay the buckle against the wood with the protective leather side touching the wood and the leather end pointing up to the muzzle end. Run the pointy leather end through the barrel band then back through the leather keeper and sling buckle lock then through the hole in the stock. when finished the leather side of the steel buckle should be resting against the wood when cinched up.
