The small disc with the ss marking is for 99% post-war made ... in general ss soldiers didn´t mark their weapons ( it´s the same mystery like the ss stamp in the wodden stock of a mp41) .
Value like already said, 350- 400 . Your deact. weapon is in very good condition

Think that here in Italy the firearms prices are very high, also for deactivated ones. I have seen deactivated MABs from 600/700 up to 1000 euro.

yeah I noticed this also . For a mp40 ( not match number ) a price of 1500 euros isn´t amazing .

Hola Luis, this is an argentinian or aegyptian MAB 38A-44, produced in the years 1950-1958. Somebody erased the year of manufacture from the script between "38A44" and the serial number "M 9635" and inserted the little disk in the stock.
