watch out with this dealer!!!!

Hi,

Just want to alert you about the following dealer, about a year ago i bought a scope from him, I paid by bank transfer and I still havent received anything!!!!

I call him about a 1000 times and he told me it was the post service fault but i shouldnt worry since the shipment was insure (One of his policies) after a few months I ask for all the shipping information, he always told me on the phone that he was going to email me with everything...but i am still waiting.

A few weeks ago we had our last conversation and he told me to stop bothering him!!!! that he couldnt do anything about it!!!!!!

So if this is not a scam tell me what it is????

I do not know how we, collectors & customers can defend our rights.....

Either if this guy does have or have not the voucher of the shipment is possible to demand him, or the shipment comany if there was sent the parcel. the responsibility is from him since it has not sent it. and if he says that there is lost the voucher also the fault is from him. it is possible threat him in this way. the problem is that demanding costs money. but finnaly he would pay the costs, if you win the demand.
The only thing we can do, as far as I know, is to write
their name in a "black list".

Tell him it's simple. You paid for something the did not arrive. He said it was an insurance issue. Not sure but I thought the sender has to collect on that. If he was lazy and let it go then it comes from his pocket.

Tell him this and if he does not do the right thing name and shame.

Believe me I tried everything, but the guy is just unwilling to refund me of send me a new product, well that is of course if he ever did it for the first time, since I don’t have any prove of this first shipment!!!!


In our last phone conversation he told me not to call again and hang up on me!!!

I have been correct and polite with this person and haven’t manage to get anywhere that is why I am putting this post to avoid other people get rob like I have been.

It is a shame that I don’t know any legal way to put pressure on the seller…but anyway I guess I have learn the lesson and I´ll be more cautious in the future.

In any case watch out with this person...

You will never see your money. They do that on e bay, if you dont pay a fictitious postal fee they always keep the item, and resell it many times. There are many german scopes locally even in spain. I do NO business overseas for that reason. Now you have been taught the hard way, and for those who havent learned their lesson, they will also eventually get burned by some of the bad german dealers. . as if he was a honest person, he would refund the guys money. I feel bad for you, try looking locally , and asking around , and ill bet youll find a better one right in your own back yard. What was the scope marked ? also what mounts did it have attached , turrent , claw, none? Maybe someone here has one they will sell you. This just may work out for you...i dunno.

I have a friend in Germany that makes sure that if I buy someting over there, and sent to the States, it better get sent, or he reports the information to the police, he has been a help on two occasions. These type birds don't like their names given the the modern day gestapo, espec about selling 3rd Reich things.

That's a big forum for gun interested people in Germany, Austria & Switzerland. They might be able to give you advice og information. There are consumer laws in Germany so the dealer can't just ignore you and never deliver the item.

Unless I know someone personally or that person is known to others as an honest person, I am very careful. If you must do business for that can't live without item, I will use a credit card or Paypal or learn to do without. As far as I know, these are the only means of payment that gives you some recourse.

Unfortunately we live in a society that all is not as it seems.
