Is the bolt and the internals matching? It does not have its original stock. The stock is a Walther and has been renumbered post war to match the gun. DUV should have 214 waffenampt codes, and on the other side of the stock.

Yes i agree looks like the stock has been renumbered condition is so so

If the P38's weren't rare codes I'd say you did OK on your end. If you intend on shooting it make sure you get a piston kit from Apfeltor along with new springs. Chris...

yes i was thinking i never remember seeing numbers like that stamped into the wood. they look small and the depth of the stamp is shallow leaving a visible circle depressed around each number. i never saw that on a stock. only the number itself with bigger numbers .
