    K98 bnz 44

    Hi
    A friend of mine has this nice K98, but only markings is bnz 44... there is no waa or other, only the bnz 44. Why is that??

    The serial number is on the barrel. Some late bnz44 rifles don't have acceptance proofs because of where they were manufactured.
