I have a chance at buying this rifle. Could someone please give me a rough idea what it is worth. If I get it I will post it on the stand.

the pictures are very nice, but we need much more information Bob! Is this thing all matching? What is the markings/date? What is condition of bore?
I see it has a poor condition k98 sling, and is missing cleaning rod, and sight hood (both very difficult to find for a G33/40!).
Also let us know what is the asking price?!
If this rifle is a mismatch, I know a dealer that has two G33/40 rifles right now, both "dot42" with MM bolts, for $825.(and I believe that they both have sling, sight hood, and cleaning rods with them!? Not 100% sure though?)

Sorry for my photographic abilities! Actually I did have a couple of better pictures but they were too large to post. The rifle is all matching and the boar is in decent condition. There are no markings on the stock although it does not appear to have been sanded. I think his price is too high, he is asking 1500.

$1500 for an all matching G33/40 in very good condition is very reasonable I believe.
I've had offers of close to $2000 on mine,(sight unseen!), and I'm not selling it.
The two MM ones I mentioned are selling for $825. Rule of thumb is that a MM rifle is half the price of a matching rifle! So do the math!
