FOUND!! Mag for my Mauser P08!!

.....A member on another forum was kind enough to check Don Hallock's master mag list, and actually found the missing mag for my 1940 Mauser P08!!!

The unfortunate part is that the owner passed away, and as is Don's habit, the data file on the owner was deleted....

Apparently, Don does this so that the surviving family won't be bothered by collectors.....

Although I understand the logic behind this, I'm VERY disappointed....

I can only hold out hope that it will turn up someday, now that I know it was once found.

    Bob.
I'd give my right arm to be ambidextrous.....

Could someone please provide a link of where all that Luger mags info is?
          Thanks
bobcam1, at least you know it is still out there and not buried in a trench or destroyed since 1945!

Wow, thats really bad luck, Bob.......
            So near yet so far..........

Has Don completely deleted the information? It may be worth making an inquiry......

            Steve.

              FestungSpanien....
Yes, It's great that it's still out there, intact....Whether I will ever find it, is a mystery.....

Don Hallock's master list can be purchased from him for 65.00. It's over 100 pages of orphaned mags, with info on who owns them, and how to get in touch.

              Don's e-mail address is: drh@oz.net

              Steve....
Don has deleted the data file, and does not remembers the person's name. I was hoping he would keep a backup file, that I might get the info from, but he says that he does not....

It so incredibly rare to find the missing, matching mag for one's Luger.....I can't believe that I was this close, and can't get it....
