Here for review is my Winchester M97 Trench Shotgun. I have owned this gun for 15 + years now and the only thing I have done to it was add an original WWII era leather sling. I believe this gun is a mid to late 1918 manufactured gun with correct WWI era ordinance markings (US & flaming bomb) on the ejection port side of the receiver. The letters "CYL" are stamped into the barrel just forward of the receiver. The stock and fore end wood are not cracked anywhere. The barrel has no pitting or rust. The shotgun shows honest wear, with the original blued finish coming in at about 80% + conservatively. I have included numerous photos for everyone. All opinions / comments welcomed.
