    OPINIONS:HSc

Picked up an HSc.Not very experienced with this pistol, so I am looking to my fellow collectors for guidance. Some red flags were raised when I cleaned it up.It was dirty. My main concern was the slide. Is it the original finish? The pencil etched serial # at the muzzle in the slide has blue in the etch,Is this correct? There appears to be holster wear on the slide so If it is re-done it is old and a good job. Also the"S"seems to be properly colored as well as the fire dot.I can return this gun at any time ,so let me know all your opinions. Thanks,J

it looks good the slide and barrel are numbered together (same) as long as the frame has the last 3 digits of the #'s from the slide and barrel your good to go, and the blueing looks original at least from the pics it does here in Fla. nine score. best regards

                  Hello,
seems to be a good ww2 piece.
Don't worry about pencil etched s/n at the muzzle, it's right!
Last three digits of s/n were reported on muzzle (with pencil) and barrel (marked).

                  Regards
                  Brus

                    Jason,

I don't see any problems with this HSc. Seems to be a nice find.
