Sending scopes to Germany

Hello,

Has anyone ever sent a rifle optic to Germany from the US? Is there any problem doing this?

I'm selling a French scope and a German is interested.

Well, I just sent my Kahles over to Austria to get it mounted properly in the rings, and I just put "optic and mounts" on the custom form, and it made it through just fine, for whatever that's worth. Don't lie, but don't make it sound menacing either. After all, unless there is a rifle attached to it, it IS simply a piece of optical equipment, right?
