Tomorrow I will scope out an M1911 A1 45 made by Remington Rand. Pictures will be posted here on Thursday night and it would be helpful if anyone could give me any advice as to what to ask when viewing the gun. This weapon is a 1943 model and looks to be near perfect relative to Parkerization. Ser # 1433267 What would be a fair price for this gun if it is in good condition? Thanks

Hate to sound like an Ahole but you really should get a book or 2 and study them well before plunging any real money down.At least do a quick google search and familiarize yourself with the basics.
New finishes REALLY hurt and if your not familiar with the Original finishes and how they are applied you could get stuck.Is it a big dollar piece or a Really Mint piece?... -
All I know about the gun is the pictures from a digital camera. I will post pics tomorrow but the gun, holster, belt, ammo & first aid pouch will be about $1700.00. I have researched these in the past but have not done so lately. I plan to do so now. Take a look again tomorrow night .Comment
