    K98 barrel markings

    Another thread on here made me wonder about these markings found on the underside of my 1936 S/42 K98 are. Any help?

      I think they are strength test markings and the maker and year of the barrel

        I cant remember it all but the DO is the maker of the steel, The next set of numbers i think are the steel lot the barrels were made from and there is one more that I forget.
