Hello all. Im currently doing a WW2 modification for Half-Life 2 called Resistance and Liberation (site: www.resistanceandliberation.com ). In RnL we are trying to create the most realistic atmosphere on both sides of the conflict as possible including uniforms, weapons etc. Ive searched alot of site and i cannot find any real good reference pictures of a FG42 Model I and i was wondering if someone out there can please take pictures of maybe their repro or actually working model. I know this is a rare gun and propably why there not many good references out there. What im looking for is good (large) left, right, top, front, back, angle shots of the gun. If someone can please help me out i could really appreciate it.
Also on a side note. I have a small question. I know the G41 has a fixed magazine so it uses the standard K98 stripper clips. I also know of course the G43 has a removable magazine. My question is simply this. Can a person lets say he uses all of his magazines for his rifle, while having the magazine still in the rifle can he load it still with stripper clips through the breech or does he have to unload the magazine and then load the stripper clips that way. Thank you guys for your time and patience and look forward to see your responses
