The K98 sniper is an icon to me.I finally found one.Not complete yet.At first I thought it was a High turret, but that went out the window when I bought High turret mounts/Ajack scope and it didn't fit.So here is my Low turret1943 for your review. The gun came without the mount screws in place, and some gomer tried to knock the rear mount off.Luckily he did not succeed. So the screws are not correct.Brutal duffle cut,but to me that adds some charm. All input is welcome

VERY NICE. I could have told you it was a real low turret just from the pictures and the serail number. I would bet that it is one of the last Low turrets made....and they are MUCH rarer than the high turrets.
I would bet that this one does not have the so-called bunny marking on the receiver right under the bolt handle base. I would appreciate it if you would check and perhaps remove the bolt and take a photo of the metal that is now covered by the bolt handle and bolt sleeve.
Also I love the way that the 135 WaA is stamped between the number and the i suffix...that is very correct for that period of a Low Turret...
