            The part on the rifle that the scope mount attaches to (the rail in your last picture) is a TURD!

                No, what I mean is, that rail is a fantasy piece that never really existed as an original part made by the Germans during WW2, The original rails were a part of the rear sight base.

                      i was under the impression the scope numbers were to be the same as the rifle? and the scope condition looks way poorer than the excellent condition of the rifle?
