Did Karl Ackva make PP holsters - specifically 38 dated, ink stamped PP with
an SA cartouche. How to tell fake from repro?

Fake SA holsters are out there Bruce. Any photos? The date and SA cartouche are all in ink?

if the holster looks like the one here:

it will be a total fake. In any case, I'd highly suspect a holster with SA cartouche NOT made by Akah. As far as I know, only Akah made holsters with the SA symbol on the flap. And these holsters are special with features not present on standard akah holsters.

Thanks Martin. Its the same with no party stamp.
There is an ink stamped "P.P" on the inside of the lower flap.

Basically we have good PP holster with fake SA stamp?

Yes, if it is the same as the one I posted up in the link that Martine provieded. If you read through the thread, myself, and others, basically agreed that it is an original Walther PP commercial holster, that has been "altered" to try and look like an SA holster.
