        very nice pistol, nice score. however it appears to have been reparkerized and box appears to be a reproduction IMHO. best regards

            Stu ; I concur. The color is wrong , the has been sandblasted look is obvious . The only two original WW2 colts in the box I ever handled had th epistols wrapped in a wax like cloth that was tough as nails. This looks like a Dave Beuhn special made for profit.
