I hope you know that the japanese never used boiled linseed oil on any of their guns. .

ok why don't you go to a Japanese Vet and ask him what he used and I'll get it from the local Tokyo IJA Arms depot.

They used a laquer type finish on the rifles. Boiled linseed oil will not come close to the feel or finish of the original stocks.
