Who would have gotten the G24t or the Yugo M24 as an issue weapon? I
have seen both with German marking and was wondering how these would
have been issued.

Captured Polish, Czech, Greek, and Yugo variations of the 7.92 Mauser service rifle were used by 1st. line troops throughout the war.The Yugo weapons presented a minor problem because the receiver is a fraction shorter than the standard 98 design. This meant that bolt parts were not interchangeable, Yugo weapons stayed in the Balkans for the most part going the troops involved in antipartisan duties.Czech weapons equiped 11 divisions of the German army in 1940.
