                  That's the first thing I noticed too Denny. Is it an Akah/DRGM Bill. I had thought these were later war. Of course, it could have been and was most probably a replacement holster as the original probably wore out after use for 10 years or so.

                    Joe, Yes the holster is a Akah/DRGM and marked under the flap Walther PP 7.65mm.. Hope to see you at SOS in March...BILL

                      Must be a replacement holster then when the first wore out. I wonder if those larger flap forward mag pouch Akah's are redesigned Akah "Anuschat" design holsters, to improve access to the trigger area. The cut-away area is much larger. This early one might have been one of those sent over from the RFV to the early HIGA/Grenzpolizei in 1935.
