    Yeah, I know the shot is really blurred.

    The marking is definitely a Crown over a circle, with something in the circle that I cannot make out, even under a magnifing glass...
    Does not look like the Crown over RE...
    Oh well, maybe over some time I'll figure it out.
    It's interesting that it is chambered in 9mm...

            Your Beretta was produced between september 8, 1943 and april, 1944.
            Most probably september 1943.
            If the figure in the circle is a rampant lion the proof mark is the one of Brescia proof house, a commercial one that was in use in that years.
            The lanyard is a post war one, don't fits to a war time gun.

              I have a leather lanyard for a Beretta that matches the green of the Italian holster. Looked correct to me...color was a good match.

                Yes, pre war and war time lanyards were of leather, green or brown.
                In 1949 was introduced the canvas holster and his lanyard, like the one of Maestro.
