i picked up a Mauser HSc pistol over the weekend and am curious to find out how many rounds is the magazine supposed to hold? it will hold 8 but i think it's more like 6 as the pistol feeds better with 6 than 7 or 8. i had a postwar model in .380 sometime back and have completely forgotten how many rounds that pistol held.

WWII Mauser HSc magazines were designed to hold eight 7.65mm (.32) cartridges. However, many HSc owners/shooters elect to load only 6 or 7 cartridges to ease the magazine spring tension.
