The extra markings (pressure testing?) after the serial number indicates that the gun was imported as a live firearm.
Those are the UK deactivation markings. The crossed swords one is Birmingham, the D & A either side of the swords means deactivated and the 94 is the date, so in this case it was originally deactivated in the UK in 1994 and sent to the Birmingham proof house to be certified as deactivated. The second mark is a reproof from 2008 as, I'm presuming the original certificate was lost and it has to be resubmitted to the proof house to get a replacement, in this case it can be seen that it went to the London proof house to be rechecked because of the Scimitar stamp (with the D & A for deact and 08 for the date).

        Hi everybody again!

Thanks to all, and thanks Kompanie for your patient and advises!!!!!

I place the pictures of the magazine who come with the weapon. I think that has the same blued than the rest of the weapon, and does not appear the famous 1001 in the other side of MP44, but appears a waffenmat.

So I think that did not come from DDR.

Yes, the weapon was bought in England, to a particular, and I was told that it was bought from a Museum, I do not know if that can be true.

In Spain Museums some times sell items, but it was more in the past, today I don't think so, specially Cavalry swords form the Gold Century XVII(Siglo de Oro) and this happened in the 40’s of XX Century, the State was poor and needed money, when after the Civil War many high class families were killed by the Reds, and it appeared many swords from these families and did not exist real owner of the weapons. Museums had many items and did not know what to do…..with them.

        Happy Christmas to everybody!!!

        Best regards

All ex-DDR weapons did not come with 1001 magazines, but some did!
Mine had a normal fxo mag, but did sport the DDR leather sling with folded & sewn end-stopper instead of the normal Frosch (often sold on ebay as "Very rare late war StG sling..")
