Attached are the seller's photos of an MG-34 that I have been offered. The gun was manufactured by Gustloff-Werke in Suhl, in 1940. The gun appears to have all matching numbers, other than the bolt and barrel.
I am having a tough time determining if the gun's finish (particularly on the barrel jacket and top cover) is the original WWII German factory finish. Thus, I would very much appreciate any observations regarding the finish (or any other aspect of the gun).
Sorry that the photos are less than optimal, but the seller is a "gun guy" and not a photographer. The gun is 100% live and is located here in the U.S., and is properly registered under applicable federal law.
Thanks!
Alan
