Help/Opinion on a flare gun holster please..

    Hi gentlemen,

I'm asking your help on this flare gun holster.
It's what is called a 'second model' flare gun holster because it's not leather but ‘ersazt’ (compressed cardboard)
    .
What are surprising me are the following things:

    1. First, I never encounter a RBNr (but I'm not sure to have seen everything )

    2. Second, the strap is quite different from the 'normal' model. Usually, there is two pieces of metal which are used to link the strap to the holster.

So my question is ... Have you already seen such kind of holster?

    Thanks in advance.

    Regards

Here are some pictures of it

Looks very much like one of the copies from India. The RbNr is far from convincing and the total package with materials and techniques looks far from right!

      Hi,

Thanks for you input. I've got the same strange feelings. I've never seen a RBNr on a flare gun pouch .. but I've never seen a post 43 holster too

To this holster is joined a good rod (marked J42 with the proper WAamt), but as a cautious guy, I will stay away from this 'thing'...

Thanks to you for your 'advice'.

      Regards

PS1: this holster doesn't look like one produced for reenactor.

PS2: The seller told me a nice story concerning it.. (of course )
