Is this k98 stock from an rc?

Can anyone tell me if this stock looks like it came off an RC, or if it just appears varnished? Thanks,

Than why is the bayonet lug painted black with what appears to be remnants of something black (like paint?) on the buttplate?......Bodes

If you gave us a super close up pic of the buttstock area shown on the left of pic #1, you would enable us to determine if the numbers had been sanded off.

An RC would have the numbers across between the bolt takedown disc and the buttplate - a Yugo stock would have the numbers going up between that area, I think.

Right now I am not sure if I see numbers going from bottom to top in that area - like a Yugo.

Thanks Gentlemen, it is in the mail right now, these are all the pics I had, so time will tell. I was hoping we could tell strictly by the finish. I was told there were no visible markings at all on the stock. Either way it will be a good replacement for one of my Rcs, thanks again all!

buttplate is rust same with bayo and take down disc. we will soon see when it arrives. My only problem like you all is i think its a yugo as i eitehr see serial or rough marks but there to conformed?? aah we'll find out soon enough.
