MP40 Pouches

Hi all, I recently bought a pair of leather Norwegian MP40 pouches from a fellow forum member as original ones are way out of my price league I was surprised to see they were maker marked and dated 1939 were the Norwegians also using MP40,s at this stage of the war?

the short answer is no they did not . these pouches was used fore many kind of magasines. sisu

These pouches were made in brown, grey (very rare) and green leather in the 1950's. Your set has been dyed black and fake-marked along the way. Pritty bad as well, since the code system was introduced in mid 1940, while the set is dated 1939..... Pouches have been made loose-fitting to accept both the MP40 magazines as well as the Sten magazines.
