    MG sling & Ammo Tin

    Hi all, just wanted your opinion on the MG sling and Ammo tin, I believe they might be ex Russian stock, sling is in very good condition, can in same state and I think dated 41, any advice or info would be great

                  The sling, if real, should be WaA stamped on the side of the metal buckle. The metal parts would have been blued originally. The black paint is definitely not wartime applied.

                  The can looks like an original that has been repainted in a postwar green.

                    IMO the sling is original.
                    I can barely see a WaA in post 1.
                    The hooks seem to be repainted but I know original samples originally black painted.
                    The can,although original, has been completely repainted, most likey post war.
