I just received this box of Luger ammo, that I will be displaying with my 1940 Mauser, and wanted to post photos of it here, for your opinions and comments, which I always value...

Hi Bob,

Your ammo was made in 1944. It has lacquered steel cases with iron core bullets. The tape on the box will reduce the value as will that fact that it has been opened.

Those period 9mm boxes are a bit hard to find.

I fired about 2000 rounds of this stuff in the late '60's through my nazi proofed Browning Hi-Power. At that time the stuff was cheap and sure-fire. Sure I would have kept some of it....
